I found it to be more responsive than chiffon but mainly because of the weight. Think 8 - 10 mm haboti silk. Or a good crepe satin.
With the exception of the veil trying to wrap itself around my head at the beginning of the set, I didn't find that it handled that much differently. BUT you won't get a sustained float out of it.
