We've been doing an official Fancy Dress Party for our science fiction convention for several years now. We've done themes of:
1. Generally fancy
2. Pirates!
3. Film Noir
4. Carnival of Venice
This year is "Myths and Legends". I always feel rather torn, because I'd like to wear AmCab regalia to one of these parties... but that doesn't feel like "Fancy Dress" to me, more like working clothes I may one day aspire to!
