When you say event do you mean the evening party or a workshop?
I'm sure you can do either for a day.
There are plenty of people who go to the fest and don't stay at the hotel. I'm not sure how much the parties cost though if you are not participating in workshops.
Someone told me you have to do atleast 4 workshops to go to the evening galas for free. Can someone who has been confirm this?
I am wondering as in our group we have 2 non-dancers accompanying their friends/partners. I assumed they could come to the events too, as there is no mention of minimum participation on the nilegroup website.

Yup.I was informed of that on last April Nile Fest.It was not a bellydance vacation for me and i was only taking the Aida Nour worshop since all the rest were to specific for my bdance experience,and i asked if i could attend any of the shows(opening gala or the closing)even if i had to pay any of those two.They told me those were only for people taking more than 4 workshops.
