Actually, this one isn't a color restoration, the original movie was made in color.
This is from a movie made in France in 1954. The dialogue is in French - it's NOT an Egyptian-made movie. I was able to get it on VHS with English subtitles through Amazon.com. You can also order it on DVD from Amazon.fr but I don't know whether that version has English subtitles on it.
In this movie, the ONLY lines that Samia's character speaks are, "Ali Baba! Ali Baba!" That's because the dialogue for the movie is all in French, and she didn't speak the language.
