Re: ISO Bedlah to fit 36DD cup, any color any style around $200

Hi,

I have a bedlah that might work. I originally bought it from Khalisah here at Bhuz, with the full intention of doing alterations to it...however, I haven't had time yet, so it is unworn. (By me, or Khalisah)

The set is in peacock colors: emerald green and a lighter green iris, purple and purple iris, black iris, and gold. It is covered in seed beads, sequins, and crystals.

**If you don't know what iris is, it is where the beads/sequins have the colors that change in the light-like oil in the parking lot in the sun0shades of purples and greens iridescent in the light.

~The bra fits me perfectly at a 38DD, but you can resew the hooks in back to make it fit a smaller ribcage.

~The set comes with a matching sequined/beaded headband, sequined neckpiece with black iris fringe, and two sequined wrist pieces. All pieces have hook fasteners that you can resew to adjust to your neck/head/wrist size.

~The belt is a little larger though-I think that the belt is around 44". It is a two piece belt that is the same on the front and back, so you can take it in by sewing hooks on each side to your measurements-and not ruin the symmetry of the design.

ISSUES WITH THE COSTUME:

This costume is brand new, never worn. However, it has some issues that need to be addressed before dancing in it. The first, is that you will need to adjust the straps, and sew them in to fit you. The straps are loosely basted on, like many new bras, and are too long for most. You will need to adjust them to your shoulders, and sew them on more securely.

There is black iris fringe along the bottom of the bra. In the center, between the cups, the fringe is uneven. One of the things that I was going to do, was take the fringe off of the center piece, between the cups. It is a pretty easy thing to do-I just have not had the time to do it.

BELT: Due to the design, you will need to put a line of boning or along the top of the belt, to better support the edging. This is also something that I had planned on doing, but have not had the time. (I have two kids, and a toddler...)

The belt is gorgeous-it has some very large crystals sewn on it, and some cutouts as well. Honestly, the pictures aren't that good-it doesn't show the iris/iridescence of the set...or the sparklyness of the crystals.

It is a very, very pretty set-I just have not had the time to sit down and do the alterations on it that I had originally planned to do.

I am asking $200 for the set, shipped, due to it needing the alterations. The extensive beading and sequining on it, are worth much more.
