While I'm not trying to dissuade anyone from buying whatever they want, I wonder how well some of the trendier and more outrageous models of these very expensive costumes will retain their resale value. Quality of materials and workmanship notwithstanding, many of these designs will be out of fashion in a very short amount of time. It seems a bit of a waste to spend $1200 on a costume that's going to be too dated to sell in a year.

It would be nice to look at some of the more classic Sahar designs, though. The red one that Dahlal had on her website a few months ago was just stunning.
