I'm starting to arrange my summer trip to the homeland for English speaking, Mexican food gorging, and bra buying...and for seeing friends and loved ones.

I usually hit Seattle, but this time I think I'll fly intro Seattle, rest and hang out, and then take the Amtrack to Portland for a few days.... then back to Seattle. A member of the group I dance with has recently returned to her hometown of Portland and I have a few other friends there...and there was at least one dancer (Lucinda?) who tried to drive to Seattle last year to meet up with me....with gas prices being what they are a train make more sense.

I loved meeting up with dancers in Seattle last time and would be excited to do it again and see more folks dance (my friends understand that when I come we just all need to go out and enjoy Morrocan food...night after night...)

It looks like I'll be going the first or second week of September, so I'd like to know if there are any events I should try to make sure I can fit into my trip. It'd be a bummer to get my tickets and learn that I am flying away a day before The BIGGESt event EVAH!
