Were you in Oum Kolthoum class or the "veil" class with not so much veil? Wasn't it this choreo? She was just the most generous person ever. She was not afraid to say her opinion about how she thinks the dance should be but at the same time very careful not to disrespect other teachers at the festival. "I respect all the other teachers here, but I think this is right, this is MY way of doing it, and now you are in MY class so I want you to learn this way right now".
Oh and I love the way she removes her Isis wings. So secretly and without stopping the dance.
