I think the items were clearly designed with tongue firmly in cheek, so I feel like we're laughing along in the spirit the items were intended rather than mocking someone designing serious costumes.
But, to cover all bases -- I was the one posting that it was wrong to mock that dancer, but I also clearly said all bets are off when someone goes commercial and tries to sell me something. This is not a woman making her own costumes for a hafla, or even trying to sell her self-made student creations. She's a professional designer of Vegas costumes:

I actually think her stuff is really cool, and if I had the bod, I'd totally wear the gold leaf thing as Tinkerbell! She's just stretching it a bit to call them 'belly dance costumes.'
