I finally caught my scale red-handed, being whimsical. I got up this morning, weighed in, then went to sit down and check emails. Just for kicks, knowing that I had not drank any water or taken a bite of anything, and with the exact same pjs on, I weighed myself again, and it was up by half a pound.
This makes no sense whatsoever! I don't think my scale is completely batty, It doesn't say I weigh 39 pounds or 395, but there is no way I gained half a pound just by being
awake. I think I want one of those old fashioned medical scales with the counterweight on it!
Update: now I have had a few gulps of water, stepped on the scale, and gained another half pound. So I've gained a full pound since getting out of bed, without even eating breakfast yet!
