pregnancy no-no's - re exercise
well this is a little off the main topic of this thread - but - I ignored much of the pregnancy exercise no-nos - & was fine & my baby was fine. i did read a good book by a physical therapist & consulted my yoga teacher. i modified some things but totally ignored others because I thought they did not have any good basis.
It's amazing to me some of the off the wall things which are presented to pregnant women as fact. People are still being told to rest in bed for a problem pregnancy for example. My midwife said that was bull.
I wouldn't advise drinking alcohol tho. That does have a basis in fact.
I think it's fine to drink a little wine while breastfeeding. My midwife recommended that & I did do it.
Based on my experience, it might not be a good idea to eat hot lentil soup, tho! (I dropped a hot lentil on baby's head & she did not like it!)
