Now, don't sue me if the idea messes up your shoes because I have no idea if it'd work without having tried it - but how about a metallic fabric paint? I bought some for the kids to decorate T-shirts, and you can get little tubes or tubs for painting on the stuff and it's washable. I don't know how well it'd stick to the leather, but since it's made for fabric, it's pliable.

Good idea, though! I've been eyeballing those shoes for a while, but just don't like the look of them for performances, as is. (Though, you wouldn't see them much with a full chiffon skirt).
