I've been here around since the new bhuz format/upgrade. I heard about Bhuz from the bellydancing community on live journal.
Who:
I'm 32. I started bellydancing with a class in Newark Delaware about 2 years ago now. I had some tap/jazz/ballet training on and off beforehand, along with some music training (flute, recorder, some Indonesian instrument resembling a xylophone)
Not sure I would ever want to dance in a traditional restaurant setting, but I'd love to get involved with Renaissance festivals, drum circles, and maybe some gothic bellydance. I also think about getting into sewing costumes (I've been sewing since before high school), though I don't think I'll ever have the patience for extensive hand beading.
In real life, I've got 2 degrees in Math and working on one in statistics. Hence, my English/spelling/typoing is always lacking.
Where else am I?:

I just joined tribe a few weeks ago, and I am
Lorelei there. That's my dance name, not that I will ever be pro, but I have a name anyway.
I'm math_imp on live journal. Maybe someday I'll change that name, since I rarely go on hash runs anymore (where I was named). I have myspace with the same name, but I tend to use that mostly to keep track of bands and pass along some advertising.
