I got the results back from my first ever professional dance photo shoot, and I'm so pleased I just have to share! It's a milestone: Baby's First Christmas, BDer's First Photo Shoot....
The shoot was for a tribal fusion troupe I've just joined. That's not my usual style, so you'll notice that I haven't had a chance to get as tricked out with heavy jewellery as your typical tribal girl. I'll have to do a lot more tribal now that I have these gorgeous photos, though!
Everything just came together ideally that afternoon: I finally got my eye makeup right, I had a good hair day. I made the right decision to bring lots of props with me, as they gave me something to do with myself other than stand there trying to look fierce. I felt like the embarrassing amount of time I've spent watching America's Next Top Model finally came in handy! The photographer,
Carla Licavoli from New York, was fantastic, and kept the atmosphere really fun and relaxed. I highly recommend her.
So, in sum, this is the best I have ever looked! Yay!
