I have made 4 looped bras so far. I will try to take pictures and post it.
One was an original great loop but wanted my belly covered more, so I thinned out the middle loops, and by using the same beads and some other bigger ones (5-6 different kinds in the same color tone) made the loops.
I have a Topkapi set, and I finally had enough of all that finge, so completely took the fringe apart and rebeaded the whole front. It took a few hours, but the more you do it the quicker it gets.
I have 2 Phraonics that were just too naked for me, so I did the same thing.
So far I haven't lost any beads.
This is how I did it: I put the bra on a mannequin (or a hanger would do) and set it front of it. For me what worked best is the sew directly on the bra. Pull the needle through the bra, bead it and when you think it's long enough, you attach it to the other cup, and so on. I also made some loops separately and then attached it to the bra. This is more comfortable, because you are not stuck to the bra, with your arms constantly up in the air. But I found that sometimes the string (or if connected the cirlce) was to large/too big, and didn't hang the way I wnted it to.
For the bra to look good and the loops to move well:
-don't just attach them on the bottom of your cups
-attach most of the on the actul cups on top, in the middle, and then work your way to the bottom.
-the biggest, longest loops need to come from the bottom of the cups, more on the outside, than the inside.
-the smallest loops will be on top, coming from the top area.
This way iy will also look nice from the side.
I really like the way it turned out, there's one more bra I am going to redo (it's also a Pharaonics)
I don't know if my description is clear, but I wil try to take pictures and that should help.
