Down five pounds this week eating tons of veggies, lean meats, fat-free yogurt, almonds and plenty of water. (I found these wasabi and lime & chili flavored almonds - they're low in salt and so yummy). No doubt the weight is mostly water weight, but I have not been starving myself by any means and am eating TONS of veggies. It'll slow down, I'm sure... but I'm good with that. It's motivating to start with such a great loss. Essentially, I'm following the South Beach diet in the sense of good versus bad carbs, but am really trying to focus more on health versus following a specific diet and plan to add fruits in a week.
Urbana, you and I are on the same "schedule"! Very cool...
