Yes, I'll be there from Thursday afternoon around 4 p.m. to Monday around noon and I'm dancing in Friday show (I think it's Friday but will find out when I get there and drop off my music on CD's) I'm so excited too! Even though I will still have to wear my big, black ankle brace during the workshops (you may remember me, I'm Nisima of the "Nisima vs. the bus" thread - fell out of bus onto sidewalk and sprained ankle badly).
So I'm all packed and the only variable was what to wear on feet for show. At first I was convinced that my 1.5" ballroom silver sandals would be best but they broke during a practice! And the 2" ballroom silver sandals are gorgeous but keep pitching me sideways (not a good thing, I assure you!). For five minutes of dancing on a good stage, bare feet is the best and most stable solution and I can easily wear a flesh-colored thin ankle brace just to be on the safe side.
I'm very happy with the line-up of workshops; DeeDee did a great job and esp. getting Magda El Leisy to fill in for Mona Said.
Other than that, I'm looking forward to meeting more Bhuzzers in Dallas! I'll be the average height, sort of curvey, curly brown haired dancer with the black brace on right ankle so easy to spot!
