Hmmm, there is a dance scene in Frankfurt, you'll find there Studio Orienta
www.orienta.de which also organizes one of the largest festivals in germany, Studio Arabeska where Momo Kadous
www.momo-kadous.de teaches and some vendors who have mainly music, hipscarfs and some cheaper crap.
If you have the chance to go to Darmstadt, which is about 40km from Frankfurt I would highly recommend visiting
www.orientalische-sterne.de . There are only a few costumes shown on their page but they have lots and lots of beautiful egyptian costumes. They don't have a real shop, but when you make an appointment you can rummage in their stash all on your own.
