Hi Sa'diyya,

I've seen you in L.A. before - with BDSS? Or, am I thinking of someone else? Ah it was you - I remember that performance to this day. Actually, I think of it often because it was the first time I realized how different rhythms needed to be treated uniquely within an oriental song. D'oh! I was still fairly new then and had spent time up to that point with more of a fusion/tribaret dance education.

So, you contributed greatly to my "Egyptianization." :)
