The Helenator is a nickname given to me by one of my former teachers. I had some kick-butt stage presence and a huge smile that was very popular with our audiences. My former troupe danced with live drummers, and when I would come out to do a little solo our lead drummer would sometimes call out - "Here comes The Helenator!" The "name" seemed to fit and soon everyone was using it.
