www.bellydance.org has quite a few instructional videos that are very very highly recommended. The material taught is well worth the price of the video and if you watch the swap pages daily* you can find them there for more than half the cost! Additionally, our own Hannan Sultan has a couple of great beginner series out, if you would like to advance beyond veena and neena. Her format is easy to follow and repetitous (sp.?) enough to get it the first time around. And she has a warm personality too. I'm not sure if you can get to a good instructor or not but if you can only study from video right now, IAMED's are definitely the way to go. Welcome to bhuz.
