Awesome abs workout!
So I went for a walk with my boyfriend last night and we ended up at a little playground not far from home, where we sat down on the swings. Before I knew it, I'd been swinging vigorously for a half an hour while we reminisced about swings when we were kids (jumping off them, the "underdog", the dream of someday making it around the top bar, etc.). Well, I started to notice that I was giving my abs quite a workout! In fact, I started playing around with holding my body in different positions through the swing, and forcing various muscles to actually do the work, and there's some great opportunity there for isolation work - I woke up this morning and can feel it in both my upper and lower abs, my upper back, my arms (both biceps and triceps) and my quads (from leg pumping).
Seriously, go try it - it's fun!
