Well, she has this "halo fuschia on black" very shiny lycra that has more of a pattern, lots more than the shiny red halo in picture. Or, you could get "bubbles" which is a definite pattern of circles, and it's halographic blues and greens. Check it out. Lora also told me she makes beledi dresses in printed velvet so had no problem making up a Melaya dress in printed velvet - I'm thinking the tie-dyed red/orange would be lovely and for the braver souls, even leopard. In a printed fabric, I'd get the dress much shorter than mine, she wanted to make it longer because of the off-center slit and it does move well. Talk to Lora about fabric options and she is also thinking about chiffon ruffles at hem of a shorter dress or even fringe. Yowsa! This is going to be lots of fun!
