Wow ! Thank you all for the help! (or asking for it) After working on the last BDSS videos, I noticed even those girls have just as many questions about make-up and hair, and get frustrated too. Keep this thread going ,it really is helpful! On this project I will be covering a lot of what your asking about, eyelashes, make-up and lighting,etc.. I'm also adding some GREAT photos.
Hang tight it's gonna be cool! :)
But I would like to answer a few now ...O.K. FINE HAIR..
start with clean wet hair- put a volumizer on the roots only( I like Sebastian Root Lift) dump your head upside down and lift your roots as you dry with your fingers. when you get about 75% dry spray a soft, brushable holding spray through you hair ( I LOVE White Sands Liquid texture firm finishing spray,it's magic!) -finish drying (still upside down) Flip up and grab your hot rollers (even if you want your hair on the straight side ,Just use big ones)
spray each roller section with a heat protector/ firm hold working spray )I totally LOVE White Sands Liquid texture firm hold spray, will hold ANY hair and you can brush through it,extra magic!) toss the U shaped clips and buy some clamps for your hot rollers(Conair and Remington rock!) Let you rollers cool off COMPLEATLY. I like to do my make-up ,pack my costume while the rollers are in. Take the rollers out right b4 you go. If you want your hair on the curley side take the rollers out then reclip the curl, hair spray, and put a scarf on untill you get to your stage show. If your going to a home or party pack a curling iron to touch up right b4 you perform. Ladies with curley or frizzy hair might need to smooth your hair out with a blow dryer b4 setting on hot rollers.
Oh and remember to practice first, if your not sure how it will look.

Hope that helps you out a little in the mean time...
