Doh! This is what I get for not reading hte whole thread. I just realized that this was started *by* a makeup artist, and seeking potential topics. my mistake!

I would be interested in knowing how to keep the hairline from frizzing when I perform. (Of course the part which is most obvious is the first place that gets messy on me.)

I would also like tips on blush application that doesn't look really 80s. Ways to use light colors on dark skin without looking ashy. Alternatives to the thick black eyeliner/red lipstick look. I also like the "MAC" look with alternating matte and shimmer. Wehn left to my own devices, I get carried away with the shiny, and it never looks quite as lush as it did in the shop. How to keep one's face from melting between shows.

Oh! an this would be cool - how to "detramp" after dancing. Like when you've got on 5 pounds of makeup, and you're done for the night, but need to meet friends somewhere. How does one take it DOWN a notch to regular evening makeup without scrubbing it all off and starting from scratch?

Melody, I think I met you once in LA! If I recall, you had really nice makeup too. Now I know why...
