Okay, it's my first student show in a public restaurant, I've got my costume, perfected my makeup, and found a caftan-but now I am wondering, how in the world do I get out of this thing? There is no backstage area-just a small raised stage, so I will be sitting with my family until it is my turn (hurray, I can watch the show!) I don't think pulling it off over my head will look particularly classy-any suggestions? Maybe I can install a zipper somewhere? To get from the stage area to the bathroom (potential disrobing area) you have to travel through two rooms-one of which contains diners who are not watching the show. Is it improper to disrobe in the bathroom, then travel the length of the restaurant in costume, and wait for my turn on stage? Thanks for any advice, I feel so silly
