If I were in your situation I think I would try inexpensive things like adding body stockings and shrugs or sleeves to existing costumes. Tamrahenna's idea about adding sequin trim to your bras is brilliant. That way you wouldn't have to spend a lot of money for a gig that may or may not pan out in the long run.
Of course, if you WANT an excuse to go shopping..... go for it.
