I just posted some pics; as for where I got everything the wire all came form Home Depot. The beads came from so many places; Fire Mountain Beads, alot of different ebay sellers and quite a few more craft stores. The football shaped beads at the tips were form a seller in Thailand and I bought the last they had; hopefully I can find more as I want to make the other headpiece she wears in rehersal in the movie.
Once I had the wire base set I covered it with heavy interfacing before lining it with velvet and gluing on all the embellishments. :)
Like I said; I've never done anything like that before so it was alot of guesswork and experimentation. I had to re-bead, put on and remove the 'spires' everal times before I got everything to work. The one problem I have with it is the wire for the spires has to be thin enough to get through the teeny beads so it's bendy. Therefore if I bang the headpiece with my arms... it bends. :p
