Asi Haskal is an Israeli of Iraqi orgin. I have heard that Orit is also a Mizrahi Jew. The famous transgender singer, Dana International is a Israeli Jew of Yemini origin.
Actually I've heard she's an Ashkenazi Jew who studied dance in Lebanon.

Please elaborate, why is that a conflict?

Along the same logic...Egyptians also have a negative opinion of women who belly dance.
