Of course you're back in Sunshine. The holidays are a stupid, terrible time to try to be on a diet, but we'll give it our best shot!
Yasmin, the week leading up to my period I just have to allow for some extra carbs & chocolate. Better that than be thin & lonely because I've killed everyone around me. It's OK, I usually gain or my weight flatlines, but by the end of your period it all falls away. It's mostly fluid retention anyway, and the salt in the snacks we crave makes it worse. Just know that you're always going to take three steps forward and one step back.
The week right after my period is always my biggest weight loss week, so try to make up for it then!
