thanks everyone, for the feedback..yeah i think the pain has continued beyond what is normal so i'm making another appointment..thanks much

ps yes when they tried to place the epi the first time i felt a painful sort of twang down my left leg. she placed it again but it wasn't too effective because they went to put in the catheter (sorry tmi) and i felt it..the epi took away the pain of contractions which was great but i could still move my legs a little and i felt the entire birthing experience. for kid number three if i'm silly enough to do all this again, i think i may ask for a glass of wine and not allow any more needles near the spine.
