It breathes, you can customize colours and 2nd most importantly, when you remove it, you can see it on the thing with which you used to remove. #1 important to me is that it does not contain preservatives, and mica does not harbour bacteria. I always use a silicone-based primer (my favorite and highly recommended is the Velvet Skin Coat made by DHC) and in the wintertime, Aveda's Hydrating Mask (it is clear gel) for added moisture just before applying Bare Minerals. The fine layer it creates does not allow the minerals to seep into my (numerous) lines and also further prevents it from seeping into my skin.

Woman, please!-

There' not one line on your face-you look like a teenager!! I love BareEscentuals, too! Been using it for going on 4 years now...My only regret is not getting into it sooner! I'm an Aveda club member ('coz I just had to have their Rambutan lipstick which is named after a fruit found only in my home island of Cebu

) b/c of their natural, pure ingredients :)

So for everyday they're good, but you'd have to lay it on quite a bit thicker for performance. The mineral eyeliner they make is superb.
Are you sure you wanted to ask this question?? ;0)

I'm also a card-holding Sephora Beauty Insider member (told you I was a makeup fiend!) and am going to search for the Velvet Skin primer (right now I'm using Smashbox primer) and I'll look into the Makeup Forever line of eyeshadows!
