As far as the dancer goes, if this is Tanyeli, a pretty famous Turkish dancer. There are tons of other clips of her on youtube. Her dancing in this clip, despite the overdub, the long title of the clip, and the odd hat still looks pretty Turkish to me.

I am putting together a Persian inspired costume for a bellydance contest next month..and it has a hat as well.

The hat won't look like the one on Tanyeli in this clip, right?

I actually think the song is the original, but I could be wrong. And yes, the butt tassel is just wrong. So, Tanyeli is a famous Turkish dancer, huh? Is this really her?
