offer for dancers
Aloha dancers, I am needing to add a few color designs to the bellydance veil catalogs..what I'd like to do is select some of the most popular costume colors and make one or two new color designs to go with that color.
I'm going to do just a couple of colors at a time.
These colors are very popular costume choices you can find on
Dahlal Internationale : Welcome! or other sites. I'm going to be making a costume reference page so that dancers can match up veil to the common colored costumes.
Would like to start with
dark teal color (similar to Oriental Flair Ensemble page one Oriental Originals)
purple (similar to dreamweaver III page 11 Oriental Originals )
plum/plumeria (that pinkish dark purple) similar to Oriental Flair page 11 Oriental Originals)
I'd like to stick to 'higher end' costumes like Bellas or Sims or Sahars ..
So what I'm offering is if you have one of these costumes in one of the colors listed above, I am willing to custom make you a pair of half circle veils (or rectangle if you prefer) at HALF the normal price in exchange for you getting a really nice photo of you in the costume, with the veils. It can be done as part of a photo shoot or in your backyard, as long as it showcases both the costume and the veils and how the colors go together.
I would also need your written permission and the written permission of your photographer to use the photo for commercial purposes. The photos will also be put in an online photo album and posted online. If you have a website I'll list your website next to the photo.
I'd like to start with the above three colors..I can only take on one dancer per color ..so if you can EMAIL ME at akaisilksinfo@yahoo.com with the type of costume you have (and a pic would be fabulous so I can see the exact colors) .
Then over the next week or so I can make the veil/s. I'll pay shipping.
The only catch is that I NEED the photos in a timely manner..if it's 30 days or less that is fine but anything over 30 days I would need to work with someone who can do it sooner.
Again the photo can be part of a performance or taken in your backyard, so long as it is nice for catalog purposes (dont stand in front of your car or just in your living room) and so long as you can see the costume style, colors, and veil colors.
As production on these veils gets underway I'll list more colors to do
