How to get your bellydance Classes in the Events listings

The events calendar at this time cannot take repeating classes. However, there is an easy way to make sure that your studio shows up in an area search of someone looking for a class.

Put this date on your listing -- 12/31/2007 -- your listing will stay up so that you will come up in a search until that date, but it will move you to the end of the listing pages so the listings won't get gummed up by hundreds of teachers posting classes.

Use this format:

12/31/2007 06:00 pm On-Going, All-Level BellyDance Classes (or whatever)
on-going, all-levels, drop ins welcome Locally Based Class Arlington Heights, Illinois (USA)

Then, at the beginning of every year, make a new event listing with the date of 12/31

You can certainly put your classes on the event listing at the start date also, but they will drop off the list after that date.

All teachers can do this so that you will be visible in an area search. Please, if you stop teaching, take the listing down. If you use a date in a year in the future I will have to remove the listing because it will appear in the wrong place on the long list.
