Send BHUZ Postcards!

You can now send any gallery picture as a postcard to any member name or email address. So, post pictures of yourself, your troupe, and send them out with a message to all your fans!

Instructions will be posted on the page media >ecards

But it's simple.

Go your your main profile page. Go to my bhuz > my account >my page

Fron your own profile page, click on "see more pics" underneath your avatar. That will bring up the pictures you have posted. Double click on a pic and it will open in a bigger window. Right below the picture, click on "send this as a postcard", and a new window will open up for you to fill in the info. You can preview and then send.

You can also do this with any picture that is in the Gallery.

Awesome, I love the idea of having postcards.

But, wait. Other people can send my gallery pics as postcards? Not that they'd want to -- just trying to understand. I may take down a few.

Anything that is in the gallery can be sent as a postcard.

Rosey, great idea, but if other people can send my pictures around as a postcard, I'm also taking some of 'm down and maybe scribble my name on the remaining pictures. Could you program something that the source of the picture is shown to the receiver of the card?

I should have been more aware that uploading my pics to a site that's not my own was really giving away some rights. I feel silly.

Of course anyone could have downloaded them before, but somehow the invitation to share & send them around feels so different!

Right now the pictures say in very tiny print "you saw it on BHUZ".

I can change that to anything you want, but it has to be the same for every picture. Do you have any suggestions.

Maybe add a photo credit option to the upload menu?

That way the photog. gets credit...just a thought

on the other hand, a lot of photo's are uploaded 'just for fun'. I don't want credit for the snapshot of my new costume that I took in my livingroom, but if I have a promopic in my gallery made by a photographer it would be nice to credit his/her name. i guess that's a personal choice *off to edit pictures*
