I just wanted to let everyone know that there is a Raqia Hassan workshop in Maryland on May 17-18.

Raqia Hassan is an internationally known teacher and choreographer and producer of the annual Ahlan wa Sahlan Fesitval in Cairo, Egypt. Madame Raqia has trained Aza Sharif, Mona el Said, Nani, Nelly Fouad, Dina, Amani, Soraya, Dandash, Randa Kamal, not to mention countless other dancers in Egypt and all over the world. She is constantly in demand giving workshops in various parts of the world, and is the producer of the sought after Raqia Hassan technique videos. Raqia's choreographies are full of interesting moves that are challenging without losing the fun and cheekiness of the true Egyptian style.
