That was incredibly beautiful. Just look at the juicy subtle accents and emotion. This is absolutely dripping - I would have loved to see this in person!
Ugh. I just posted a YouTube clip of myself dancing to this song this morning. I was feeling decently good about it until now! A tad intimidating to say the least. Yeeks.

Maybe it was still processing, Lucy? It seems to be working fine from this end. It's nothing compared to yours and the fantabulous Dina'a interpretation, but tackling Oum Kalthoum is a big step for me and I feel good about it. (Or at least did until seeing this clip)!

One of my all time favorite dancers, one of my all time favorite songs--it doesn't get any better than that!

wow! I was absolutely captivated by her. I didn't used to "get" Dina but little by little she's becoming a huge inspiration. I just love the subtle accents and i really prefer her in these more covered costumes - you really do get to see that she's more than skimpy costumes

I might be weird but I actually like it when people say they are not in love with my heroes... I think it's nice that we all have different taste and I'm greedy - I figure it's all the more for me! :)

I love the subtle accents as well. her little fluttering shimmies are amazing, such control. I love the dress, but the bike short things underneath didn't do anything for it. I realise she had to have something underneath due to the waist high opening, but it would have been so much nicer if the split was shorter so she didn't have to wear those shorts.
