Hey that is "O Clone" a brazilian soap opera that got really famous on latin america. Back in 2002 and Belly Dance got so much exposure that classes were requested every where in Brazil, and all the majors brazilian belly dancers got to dance a little bit in that soap opera.
In this video Jade is dancing for her husbad, she is NOT a dancer, she is an actress and took lessons.
And yes ,she was trying to seduce him...but all the time belly dance had this innocence feeling...it was so cute, Jade was not a bitch! She was confused between her culture and the new life...I want to cry to to think about...

I loved that soap opera!!!..

Hi Kina,
Yes they sell..I can't believe I didn't get a set when I was in Brazil last year.
I think they are 11 Dvds and cost around U$200. But its not easy to find, I think online is easier than on stores.
If I get to go to Brasil this Summer I'll let you know, but I don't think I will.

Thanks, do you know where online Imight be able to get them? I can sort of read Portuguese, so could probably manage it if I found the site.

I did look online but only found it on the Brazilian ebay, and I can't tell if the vendors are honest or not about it, their price is really cheap.

Kina....i already bought this novela on DVD....yayyy!I had missed this thread,but i have the full "El Clon" since last July!!!!
If you search it now you could probably get a better deal since the longer it has been on sale the price drops.Let me know if you are interested to post you the website were i got it.The full novela is a 50 something or 60 DVD's with all adds edited out.

EL CLON

I did not get mine from this site,but it seems this is the only one available selling novelas at this moment.I got my "El Clon" from Novelas 4 You but seems this site is no longer available.Sad,cause i got mine quick and without any problem.In fact,when i was shopping around for it i even had quite many sites selling many novelas and i could choose the one with the best price,but seems most of them are not online anymore.

The price posted on this site above is exactly what i paid for my 59 DVD's,all nicely labeled in a professional looking way.Got an excellent service from them.
