Im 32 years, I am young.... I have seen lots of bellydancers here in sicily, in italy, in worldwide but nobody like ZAMORA.
When I think of a belly dancers i think of her = THE QUEEN OF BELLY DANCE. she's my inspiration. She is sensual, elegant, absolutely professional.

You know, I had never had the opportunity to see any of Cory Zamora's youtube clips until a couple of weeks ago when I saw some of her performances from a tv program posted on youtube, and I just thought...Wow. Now THAT is a bellydancer! You just don't see this wonderful style much anymore. I love it.

Is your Floorwork dvd appropriate for total 'floor newbies'? Especially ones with crunchy knees?

....funny, i just answered an e mail from a new dancer about the floor dvd..it has been her only instruction, and she got through it lol....i address all body types, and levels of skill...and give some history
i believe there is a floor section on youtube too.

I am privileged to take lessons with Cory in Fresno! She is a fantastic instructor AND performer - yes, old school and traditional to the max, the Mama of Middle Eastern dance in California's Central Valley! Very down-to-earth and lots of fun (her posts online sometimes give the impression she's more curt than she really is in person, lol).

Cory, I wish you would hold workshops (Floorwork for example, or Tips on a "Routine," etc.), wonder if anyone would want to travel to Fresno to attend . . . (she may strangle me with my veil for suggesting this).

funny to "see" you here, then turn around, and see you here!
i do hold intensives for out of town dancers.there is a nice hotel at the airport, 3 min from me.....
i am supposed to be in santa cruz on the 16th,17th, ..waiting to see if they get the min registration!
devora, bhuz would be the perfect place to sell that red/gold BELLAH..sp?
but best of all, i get to see you tomorrow!

hi zorba, ....it isnt about the money, never is.BUT i do need to at least clear my costs, ...and it isnt happening yet.
janelle says there is still "holiday debt".etc
one of my dancers in chicago faced this a week or so ago.

i knew he had visited there before , but now he lives there.thought he should have the heads up about the "J" lady !( i have some questions for you too regarding some "teachers" in your area.will do so off board)

i was /am so honored !
i had several pros/instructors in my work shop.such a delight after the privlege of perform with them sat night!
thank you again miss janelle, for another year of joy!
and thank you for asking me back for the next pres.day weekend 2009 !
such joy comes from all of you on stage, and in class.i get so much back from all of you, it is so fullfilling to be with ALL OF YOU.

I was there - as were both of my "primary" teachers. A lot of fun, I finally figured out what I was doing wrong with the "Scarf Tie" veil wrap!

loved seing siwa again, loved "your" janette too....jamaca is so cool, aruba just glowed, not only at the sat night show, but during my lecture/workshop!

Maybe my wife will be able to come next year - she was all signed up and then realized it was her weekend to work!

'Twas fun - and Janelle *is* such a sweetheart!

I was surprised, and glad, that the Mighty Siwa was there!
