So, I was just poking about on youtube and found some videos of Andrea Prasad, who I knew as Andromeda.
I had taken lessons from her back in Utah and I remember respecting her dancing a great deal back then, (she was a very generous and honest teacher) but you know when you grow as a dancer sometimes you become less enamored with your early teachers, when I watched all these clips of her it had the opposite effect.
She had incredible musicality, great technique and a certain subtlety to her dancing that I still fully admire. I also really appreciated getting to see her do some very romantic vintage floor work. She had skills both in a Vintage Oriental style and in a classic Egyptian Oriental style.
I just wanted to give her props here for her fine dancing and say, I'm an Andromeda fan:
