Michael Baxter Rocks!
I just had my second photo shoot with Michael yesterday and I'm still high from the experience! He is so so so wonderful -- not just as a photographer, but as person as well. THANK YOU, MICHAEL!!! You Rak!!

What the heck. You cant make a post like this and not show pictures!!!!!! Im gonna wait right here until they are ready. Gets comfy ..maybe Ill practice my drum while I wait :):):)

I loooove the pix Mike took of me performing at Rakkasah in March -- not a bad one in the bunch! He's great with action shots. Can't even imagine what a photoshoot would be like.

Yes yes, I'll post some. I'm still going through them all -- he took hundreds! Plus, I am on the west coast for, uh... work... (blah!) so I guess I should do some of that as well.

He does do shoots there. My first ever shoot with him was on location in hollywood. If you email him and let him know you're in LA he can probably just keep you in mind for the next shoot when he's down there.

Many thanks for your lovely and kind words. I have thoroughly enjoyed all of our wonderful collaborations to make beautiful art. I would really like to mention that all of the belly dance Teachers I've met have made a tremendous impact on me, helping me to learn as much as possible about The Dance. This knowledge has been priceless.

The costume is from Gitane in Dallas/Ft. Worth. She's on tribe - look for Gitane's Treasures in my tribes Welcome - tribe.net
Go check her out! Her work is so unique and she deserves some recognition outside of Texas. I have another one in the works with flames and hearts (no skulls) that is hot, hot, hot!

I just wanted to run over here after learning about some other photographer's copyright policies, and I wanted to sing Michael's praises not only for his "copy left" policy, but because he always makes me feel SO gorgeous and I always get compliments on the pictures he takes for me! He's a genius when it comes to lighting and flattering shots.
