Hi folks! I am not sure where to post this but thought I would ask here. Has anyone received their veil silk fans from Jennabean? I hate to post this but I am frustrated and am hoping that I either hear from her or someone who happily did receive theirs. I ordered in January, have received a couple of updates but not my fans.

So it's not just me then? I am getting quite angry about it as like you I ordered months ago (3rd January). I have been emailing and PM-ing her on Tribe but she never ever responds and its all very frustrating especially when you get general mailings saying that they are on their way, when obviously for some of us they are not. I am very disappointed.
Edited to add - looking around it seems to be people who live outside the US who have had to wait the longest. Judging from her Tribe plenty of people in the US have got theirs!

Glad I paid extra for faster shipping then. Grrr...
The emails I have gotten have not thrilled me either. The please be patient over 300 were ordered kind of emails so don't email bulk messages...like my set was not that important and I ordered a day or two after she posted on Bhuz. Glad you got lots of orders but lousy service!

I am really not happy.
Oh me too! I was very understanding when she said that she'd had problems with her first supplier, but now I'm just plain angry. I've posted a couple of messages on her Tribe to this effect but the only response I received was a message from one of her friends saying ' Jenna's real busy right now'. Well, so am I and I want the goods that I have paid for! Even if, when it finally arrives I am very pleased with it, I will be extremely reluctant to recommend her to anyone. Which is such a shame because it's such a good idea.

Yes, I would not appreciate being told by a friend that she was busy. I can understand and have been pretty understanding for a few months now but at this point I either want my fans or my money back ASAP. This is ridiculous!

I ordered a set at a workshop couple of weeks ago through Originals by Faye and received a shipping notice this week, so mine are on their way. I am not sure if they are coming from the same supplier overseas, but Faye has been really quick in getting them to me and they appear to be the exact fans in the pics posted on old Bhuz. I didn't try to order from Jenna directly, so I can't say anything there. :)

I posted that "ignored" thread on the jhip tribe, and that night I got a USPS email saying a package has been arranged for pick up, and today it says it has arrived in here Lansing. I'm assuming that if my postman doesn't decide to have dinner before dropping of the mail (he lives close by) I should have my fans this afternoon. I won't hold my breath though
The only thing that bothers me is that I never heard anything from Jenna. Its odd, and very impersonal. A nice "sorry I ignored you for three weeks" would have done a lot to smooth over my bad feelings. Oh well. She seems like a nice girl, but I think I'll wait for her to get the business established a bit more before I think about ordering from her again.
I will just keep emailing. What bothers me is that I had a bad feeling when I preordered (never done that before...never again!) given she was a new vendor but I did it anyway. Each email I have gotten has bothered me in some small way and yet...
Ah well, let's hope she sees this and I have learned my lesson.

In all honesty, this was what I was worried about when I started getting emails about delays. Just when I would start to think I should ask for money back because of Paypal limitations, I would email and get a response that because of such and such, they would ship on such and such a day. Please don't email I'm too busy to answer while I handle the orders.
I had a feeling it would push past paypal limits and wondered if it wasn't being done on purpose. Not saying it was but I do wonder.
If she doesn't deliver, can we at least file a complaint or something?

This is why I have posted on her Tribe and mentioned it here. I know that she has several friends who belong to her Tribe and you'd think that one of them at least would tell her about this and get her to acknowledge the complaints. I've been asking around over the last few days and there are quite a few of us, and pretty much all of us are outside of the US.
I am furious - not so much about not receiving the goods although that is bad enough, but because of the whole lack of communication thing. That's just plain bad manners and it begins to smack of someone who is hiding something. . . .
