Hi Azhia,
I am SO looking forward to the release of your makeup DVD! I've been dancing for 2 years now, and when I am doing shows with my troupe, one of the girls has to do my face for me, because I know nothing about makeup (I can barely put on lipgloss without smearing my entire lip!  ). It would be a god-send for me to be able to do my own makeup for once.
I can't wait to see it! 
PS: Are there any books on beginning makeup that you would recommend? |

Hi there!
Thank you; it's going to be chock-full of information so I am sure it will help tremendously.
As far as the beginning makeup book... There was a book I once had and I cannot for the life of me remember it! I will try to recall what it was and send you the title b/c it was not a fancy schmancy book but it really gave some sound advice and excellent techniques for everyday makeup, which is a great starting point for stage makeup. To this day I use the techniques in it for myself.
It was spiral bound book, very short. I wish I could remember the title. It will come to me... Something about Everyday Makeup or Simple Face...this is gonna drive me nuts! |

This is the spiral-bound edition -- it was recently reissued in paperback with a different cover design. I haven't checked it out myself but have heard it recommended several times as a good place to start.

I need to get back out to Asia again. My family will be in Singapore for the holidays and there is a big belly dance school in Jakarta. And DARN, H.K. is always a layover getting there...  |

Wow! I'd love to have a copy of this DVD. Where could I get one? Most bellydance-related videos aren't available in retail stores here (in the Philippines.)  Freight cost is expensive but i'm willing to pay for it just to grab this wonderful DVD. I've always had trouble putting eye make-up on! Haha... This could really help me a lot!
