Raqia Hassan Number 7 more for the Melaya Leff fans

Alright, so i was watching my Raqia #7 and there are 4 or so odd performances of Melaya Leff, i was wondering what your take on those performances are versus other performances. These seemed quite at odds with a lot of what I've seen and a lot of what we talked about in the recently Melaya Leff thread....

I have that DVD (at least I think I do. I get the two I have confused). Either way, one of them has several melaya peices. I heard melaya leff can be performed to any upbeat type song, even pop. That's because melaya leff is NOT a dance style, but more of a character interpretation (using David's wisedom here), and dancing with the leff distinguishes it.

hahaha, thanks for responding, but i was kinda hoping for more of an opinion of what we were talking about previously in the Melaya Leff thread, versus what i saw here. and some specific opinions about those performances. But thanks for saying something!!!!!!
