SOLD**Unusual real coins belt or drape

This is just waiting to be incorporated into someone's tribal or tribaret ensemble. It's been waiting WAY too long to become part of "my" tribaret ensemble; somebody else should make use of it! Vintage belt of brass Peruvian coins, 35" long. The small coins have been uniformly stamped into a convex shape. The large flat coins in the center section have lamas on them (which look like . . . humpless camels!). The smaller coins are 11/16" in diameter, the large ones are over an inch (quite a bit bigger then a quarter). This has 3 sets of hooks and eyes and could be reconfigured in some other way if desired with jewelry pliers. A substantial, sturdy, well-crafted piece.

I got a very similar piece from Ebay a while ago - it may help to keep on the lookout. I wear mine mundanely, as a belt - and yeah, it's really cool, love it.
