metallic stretch polyester material

purple tones 2 yards $10 plus ship
striped
has metallic gold thread through it...
has a pattern in background

brown tones 2 yards $10 plus ship
kind of striped
has metallic gold thread through it...
has a pattern in background that looks like roses

If no one wants these I'm going to make more flair pants....and I don't need any more flair pants!!! Haha, maybe I'll try to sell those

I will consider offers too!

Re: metallic polyester materials

Can you make your flair pants out of only 2 yards? The pattern I came up with takes 3 yards.

Re: metallic polyester materials

i always use 2 yards...and usually when its 60" wide I can get away with only using a yard and a half.
How big of a flair do you make?

Re: metallic polyester materials

Big - I'm at work so can't measure. Maybe it is because I made my pattern as 2 large pieces - 1 front 1 back - so the flair is part of the pant rather than a flair piece sewn onto the bottom which would take less fabric.

Re: metallic polyester materials

So, how much would you charge to make someone a pair of flair pants out of one of these pieces?

Re: metallic polyester materials

no mine is all one piece! Maybe it is because you are taller than me! haha...
I make my pants 36"-38" so I end up needing exactly 2 yards for me

Um... I hadn't thought of it it too much but probably 30$ plus shipping (if you are close enough to my size that it doesn't require me to make a whole new pattern). inseam/length wouldn't matter. Just hip measurements.

i've made so many of these for myself that I would only charge for my time to cut and sew + material and I usually can make a pair in less than an hour. (now that I have a serger)

I would love a pair out of the purple. My upper hip is 38", and my inseam from crotch to floor is 30", so I suppose you would make them an inch or so above the floor? Is that in range of your size?
