This is a costume I am selling for my friend Holly. She bought it and never altered it and therefore never wore it, and now she is not dancing anymore. Here are the measurements:

The costume includes bra, belt with attached skirt, gauntlets, turban and 15 beaded tassels (Holly bought these so that she could decorate the costume a little more, since the back of the skirt has very little beadwork). Holly originally paid $450 for this costume, but we have reduced the price to $375 and throwing in $50 worth of fringe beaded tassels out of the exact same color of seed beads as a the costume as a bonus. This is very much like the very first Bella I ever had, which I bought around 1999 or so. A low-end model, in fact I think I added a bunch of beadwork myself.

Yes, I'm just so used to seeing the over the top Bellas I was thrown a little. It is pretty though.

It does have the standard Bella tag. I didn't think to take a picture of it, but I could. This is more of an entry level Bella, which is why it only cost $450 originally.

Actually, I like this one. Love the deep purple color. I can't tell from my monitor if the swirly rows are rhinestones or pearls?

Yes, the color is nice and rich. It has rhinestones, not pearls.

I thought I would give a little more detail. The rhinestones are all aurora borealis, and the gold sequins are the holographic kind, so when the lights hit this costume, it has that really radiant jewel sparkle.

Okay, another question -
Is there beading on the bottom of the skirt? Would it be fairly easy to take up a bit on the length?

I usually have my skirts at 37 inches since I don't like to dance in heels.

It's actually just serged on the bottom. I am away from home and the costume at the moment, so I can't take a look at it. I believe that there is some detailing to the serged edge, but it is not beaded - I know that for sure. You could easily have the bottom reserged to the right length, or you could take it up where the chiffon meets the velvet. So, yes, it would be easy to alter. :)

If someone added fringe and crystals to this, I think it would be stunning! Is there any stretch to the hip measurements? or is the upper hip the unstretchable style?

Thanks for asking! I should have given a range for the hip measurements. I believe the measurements listed are the unstretched measurements, so I don't know what the max would be. There is definitely stretch to the skirt. The top has elastic sewn into it, and the skirt itself is made out of stretch velvet. I will remeasure the skirt when I get home tonight.
The beading is really beautiful on this, and the rhinestones add a nice amount of sparkle. I think this costume would be great for someone who wants a classy costume but doesn't feel up for some of the more over the top designs.
