I'm looking for professional quality wings! I need something around 58-60 inches, and would like either hot pink irridescent organza, or gold lame. Possible green or turquoise as well...

Hi, Alimah! Do you remember when Jes' was selling those beautiful gold and silver wings -- they are heavier, not as light as lame? I bought a supply -- for the troupe and was going to take the rest to Rakkasah -- but we are not likely to return to vending at Rakkasah, so I have some left. I'm keeping the used ones for the troupe, but can offer the new ones......I'm trying to remember the original price.....It was upwards of $125 (maybe as high as 150, can't remember) for the ones that were perfect, and some that had slight imperfections (tiny hook missing, or a tiny spot, nothing major) went on auction but drew a high price as well...... if interested, I can sell these for $110 including shipping (within US). They don't have the sticks--I buy these at the hardware store & have them cut to the specific length..... I'll take pictures tonight in case you or anyone else is interested! (PS--are the hot pink wings for your hot pink Bella that looks so good on you??? )

Yes, I am interested in the gold! Just would love to see pictures. What kind of fabric are they? I'm trying to imagine what heavier-than-lame would feel like. I have two sets of wings from Ayshe in NYC and I love them dearly. They are very expensive though, so I'm trying to explore other options before I break down and go broke!

And yes, the hot pink are for my favorite hot pink bella from YOU!

I feel like a dope! I'm not sure if they're organza. I think they are. Here are some pics. Can you tell by the pics? They are pretty lightweight and very irridescent. I think they will go with light blues, teals, turquoise b/c of the irridescence. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Sorry it took so long to post! Studio is being used by the Chinese Dance Theater and there's not enough room here in our "cave" for the wing span. I took a few pictures close up -- If I can find our set that we had hanging over our booth last year at Rakkasah, I will scan & post it -- I also have the girls dancing with them in a show last year, but it's on video & I don't know how to do "clips". Best as I can describe the fabric, it looks like satin, very shiny, reflects the light-- absolutely gorgeous on stage, even in dim lighting. Isn't there a lame that is heavier, kind of has a backing on it? This is kind of like except it's the same on both sides, no backing, just heavier. The weight is definitely different to handle than the light wings, but the effect is worth it, it's spectacular! They are 49" long, not counting the neck band, which is 1" wide and fastens with a hook closure.

Wow! Gorgeous! I'll take them if the length is between 58-60 inches, and there are stick enclosures sewn in. And one last question - how do they close at the top? Thank you!!

Hmmmm.....I only get 49" (each one, of course) from neck to hem, and then the neck band is 1" -- but I am 5'6 and they seem perfect ....I wonder if I'm measuring them correctly? I just measured from below the neck band to the hem of each wing while they are folded -- should I measure them when open? Or do you need the measurement along the bottom edge (curve) when open? They close with one hook on the neck band, and there is a casing sewn on each side for the sticks---it is narrow, app. 1/4". Maybe they are too short?
