Sparkly Snow Leopard Costume - C/D $179 - SOLD!
Hi all,
Up for grabs is a Snow Leopard costume! With all of the leopard print costumes out there, this one offers a neat little twist in the color with silver and gunmetal sequins and beading. The full mermaid skirt plus black beaded fringe give this costume great movement. Comes with bra, belt with attached skirt, arm flounces, turban and veil.
Measurements
Bra:
C/D cup
Side cup - 7.5"
Top to bottom - 6.75"
Underbust - 30.5"
Strap - 13-14.25"
Belt/Skirt
Top hip - up to 37.5"
lower hip - up to 42"
Length (top of belt to hem) - 35"
Arm Flounce
Arm band - 10 5/8"
Length - 14.25"
This costume is in great condition. The arm bands were too small for me, so I added in a little black piece of elastic so that it could fit around my arm, but the give of the elastic also helps it stay on more securely. All edges of the skirt, the arm flounces and the veil have a beaded edge.
Price reduced to $179 for this costume + $20 for shipping within the US.
I also have this purple Bella, which needs a home.

Tina, can you tell me, is the skirt top just elastic, is there a zipper, or does it clasp? Thanks!

There is no elastic at the top. It's got the structured belt built into the top of the skirt. The skirt part itself has some stretch to it. But, anyway, it clasps on the side. The clasps need to be added. I never fully altered the costume and would just safety pin it closed when I wore (can't believe I did that, but I never had problems).
Do you need me to take any other pictures of the skirt?

Hi Tina, I would need to wear the top of the skirt at 37", what would it look like if it were set at that measurement? Could you set it there and take a photo of it and also a close up of the top of the belt? Thanks!

I will do that for you tonight. What I can tell you right now is that when I altered it to fit me, I unattached the sides of the chiffon part of the skirt and then cinched them up so that the skirt would overlap in the wrong place. Hard to explain. So, if the belt is set to 37", there will be an open area, but that can be fixed by undoing my alteration. If that makes sense. Probably will once I take pictures. If you were to do this alteration, then there will be more of a level change in the skirt hem where the edges meet, but I think that would look good and also add to the movement of the skirt.

Although I would have liked to have seen what you were concocting with the costume.... ones of those ruched belts with a big decoration in the center, dipping in the middle? Yes, I can see it now....

Here are pictures of the skirt set to 37".
I think actually that the chiffon wouldn't need to be altered like I thought. When I was putting this on my mannequin, I saw that because the skirt is stretchy, you could probably just attach hooks/clasps all along the edge. I didn't close it all the way in the photo, but I think you should be able to.
